Run and Read

I still run. Last week I ran three times and it felt great! Except for the parts of the week when I was neurotic, I would say last week was great. I was able to discover something really guhreat! Listening to Audiobooks while running! I can now read and run at the same time! It's brilliant. I am not decided yet which book I will listen to tomorrow. I better sync now. :)

Grateful

I just read my first post and realized that I have gone a long way since. I am now happy with the person I see in the mirror and the person inside of me. I am now pleased with who I am and I am positive about what the future has in store for me.

The future is unsure but I am happy right now and that gives me hope, much hope for the future.

I think I have reconnected with the Lord because I am now keeping a regular journal once more where I talk to Him and I really do feel Him these days. I am now able to hear mass more often than last year. Still not on a daily basis but definitely more often. My bible study sessions are more cherished and I really enjoy them. I am also more physically fit, save for the allergies that I get every now and then.

I am loving my life and myself and I know it is because of You Lord.

Training Update

I have decided to go for 10KM in my next run. Hopefully, I will be able to finish without resorting to walking. I am going to try my best but I will be immensely happy if I get to run the full 10KM without walking. I also want to not have to spend too much time under the sun *hehe!*.

I practiced yesterday and I clocked 45min for my 7KM. I hope I can do better in the actual run and I hope my performance will improve. I also swam last week and the previous week. I am clocking 29min for the 1KM. I do not know why I am not improving. I need to shave some minutes... I am not practicing sprinting still... A friend of mine told me a more regulated pace will help my breathing more... Hmm... I also want to work on sprinting. Not now though. :)

I am going to go back to Barre3 this Sunday. I really have to. I have only used on session and it's almost the end of my first month!!! *arg!*

Barre3 - Cave In

I know I was not planning on signing up for two months worth of classes but I figured since I am only going to exceed by two classes, might as well take the two classes during the two month period. I hope I can fit it into my super busy schedule! So far I have had one meeting where I think I did not push myself as much as I could. I think I could have pushed myself more. My abs did not even ache the following day. I missed last week because I went to a despedida party. :)

I won the swimming championship and I am now the Wii Boxing champion in the faculty pool *hehe!*. Also, I found out that I finished 22nd in the Nature Valley Run where I ran 5Km at the Fort. I finished in the top 11%! I will be running 10Km in the Rexona Men Run at MOA. Hopefully, that will not kill me! :)

I am really enjoying right now. I am back to my old 6Km routine. I am going to try to go for 7Km. I do not know if that will help though *hehe!*. I wanted to swim tonight but it was raining really hard earlier. I hope the raining will stop so I can go to the Sports Complex to swim. I want to work on my time. I finished 57sec the 50m Freestyle. I hope I can do better next time. :)

Barre3

Body clock is back to normal and I got to try Barre3 last Sunday. I want to make this a regular thing but I have to verify if I can extend my two month worth of classes to two and a half because I just plan to do it once a week. I do not think my body can handle twice a week of Barre3. I was trembling after the first class. I felt the effect immediately after it.

I felt my posture more erect and my muscles longer (?).

I really, really want to try it again. I think it lessens my stress as well. Which is why I really want to try it after my Bora trip! :) Going to Bora tomorrow! :)

Swimming Again!

I failed to run this morning but aside from this morning I have been running faithfully and I can see the fruits of my labor already *haha!*! I just fit into a size XS dress from The Gap which was incidentally on sale! *woot!* I am going to swim tomorrow night with a co-faculty members *yahoo!*!

I have three donuts sitting in the fridge waiting for some love. :) I love those donuts and I can feel love coming out of them as well *hehe!* but one piece is 30 minutes worth of sprint and I did not run today so I better not gobble them all just yet. I will have one for breakfast *hehe!*.

I have heard mass once since classes began. I plan to hear mass again tomorrow noon. I better get some sleep because my body clock is messed up again.

Still Running

I tripped and scraped my knee and this made me stop running for one week I think. Now my knee is better, I am back to running at 5 in the morning. I have trained my body to sleep earlier so that I can wake up at 4 in the morning to make it to my 5 am run and then after, I sleep again for an hour or two and my day begins.

I like the feeling of being able to exercise. I love being able to run and breathe, no matter how smoggy, the morning air. It makes me feel healthier. Of course after running, my friends and I have breakfast and we vary our route and our breakfast places as well. This makes running more interesting.

Currently, I listen to Pussycat Doll Domination CD 1 whenever I run. It seems to work for me. When I ran in the National Geographic Run I listened to this as well and I was able to record my best time ever! :) Hopefully, in my next run I will get to have a good record again. I hope I can practice running the uphill parts that The Fort will make me face! *afraid*

I just got back to doing Hip Hop Abs again last Tuesday. Hopefully, we are back again. I would also like to hear mass tomorrow at 1210. :)

I think I am getting my groove back.

Ran Again!

Ran with another set of friends today and had a blast. We ran along Roxas Blvd., it smelled really bad in some parts because there were homeless people. I hope to find another place by Wednesday because we are running again. We ran around 5 in the morning today. I know, this is so unlike me but the people I run with are morning people and I thought I would give becoming a morning person a try.

So far, I am in pain.

I need sleep and I am hungry already. But... I feel happy and I feel adrenaline surging in my veins plus, I had so much fun, running and laughing at the same time.

Now I am wondering... to eat or not to eat...

10K Run Yesterday

I got to run again yesterday with a college friend! I ran around 10K yesterday *woot!*. I would say it's a great way to prepare for our trip to Boracay! *woot!*

I feel so much better!

I hope I can find time during the week to swim! :)

Can't wait for Bora but I still have much to do *yikes!*.

Update!

Got to run almost 5K last night at MOA with my friends. I hope to be able to do it again soon. I have not swam again, I will try next week. Also, I am not sure what my waistline is now. It keeps on changing.

Going to an Eat-All-You-Can tonight.... Very bad. :)

Surprising Myself

Great news!

I went to the Netherlands and I can now run more than ten kilometers twice during the week I was there and I was able to walk 28Km once! I am so proud of myself.

Also, I am now swimming again. I have swam once and loved it. I hope to be able to swim again. Maybe not this week though because campus will be closed this week and I will need to meet my advisees tomorrow. I am not sure when I can swim again but I hope to swim again! :)

I have missed swimming. I am now practicing the butterfly so that I can master it and so I won't get bored just swimming my usual strokes.

Losing Teeth, Losing Weight

I think I have lost tremendous weight... I am sure I have lost an inch from my waistline after I had two impacted teeth pulled out which rendered me unable to eat solids for three straight days. I had to live on 99.99% fat-free sugar-free yoghurt. I enjoyed eating yoghurt for the first few times but I realized that I cannot live on frozen yoghurt alone. I also tried the plain yoghurt which almost made me puke so really, no more plain yoghurt for this girl.

I can now wear my old clothes again of size Small *yey!* however, I think I am gaining weight again. I am consistently eating half a cup of rice and am back on our Hip Hop Abs program as well as going to the gym. I have stopped for a month, so slap me... :) It was really hard to get back to the program but I think I am getting there.

I am getting some pimples which is horrible by the way but I cannot help it because my sleeping pattern is still out of whack! Grr... I hope to get back on track again soon, it is really hard to keep on losing sleep. I must wake up early again tomorrow so I must sleep earlier tonight. I also hope to be able to run again tomorrow which reminds me... never mind... Not worth mentioning here. *big grin*
